Move to a new phone

Take your journal with you to a new iPhone or Android phone using a backup.

Your journal is stored on your phone, so a backup is how it gets to a new one.

  1. On your old iPhone, create a backup.
  2. On your new iPhone, sign in with the same Apple ID and install Pickleball Journal.
  3. Open Settings, then Backup & Restore, and restore the backup.

If your backup doesn’t appear on the new iPhone:

  • Check that both iPhones are signed in to iCloud with the same Apple ID.
  • Check that iCloud Drive is on. The Backup & Restore screen says iCloud is not available when it isn’t.
